The holidays put us on a busy path this time of year, and there's no better way to reset from the end-of-year craziness, and take care of yourself, than with therapeutic massage or bodywork. Did you gift a massage to someone this year? Did you give the gift that speaks from the heart and says, "I want you to take care of yourself"? And how about you? Did you gift a massage to yourself? This is the time of year where resolutions excitedly get crafted, and then begrudgingly get forgotten as life takes over. Instead, make one really important resolution this year. Promise that you'll take better care of yourself. While we hope that means more frequent visits to your massage therapist, we also hope you fi nd a variety of things that will let you bring this self-care resolution to fruition: Find 5 minutes a day for quiet meditation and then set a goal to turn it into 30 minutes by year's end. Make sure to follow through with your preventive health-care timelines. Make sunscreen and water your two must-haves—always! Stretch and play, laugh and learn. And yes, schedule your next massage appointment today. Better yet, before you leave your session, schedule the next one so it's a running date with yourself! This year, and always, fi nd the things that make you happy and healthy. Live well and live fully. And remember that self-care starts with you. Make that resolution today.
